He is established as a lawyer in Delhi NCR for last more than 41 years. Primarily practicing as a Litigation Lawyer handling cases involving Civil, Criminal & Constitutional Laws. His main focus is on the Economic & Commercial Laws, including all kinds of commercial disputes and handling of cases under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, Companies Act, Prevention of Corruption Act, Prohibition of Benami Properties Act, Income Tax Act etc. 

He has taken up issues concerning the public good and his efforts for establishment of propriety in civic administration through the process of judicial review have resulted in benefit to vide sections of the society.

He has been a commentator on diverse legal and social issues and has participated as a panelist in more than 1000 Television and more than 400 Radio talks/ panel discussions over last 24 years.

He has delivered lectures to Lawyers, Government Officials including Income Tax Commissioners, Chartered Accountants, lawyers & Students on diverse legal issues at various forums.

He has regularly given words to his ideas and analysis on various legal topics and have penned them down in the shape of large number of articles and commentaries which have been published regularly in various News Papers and Magazines including Times of India, Hindustan Times, Navbharat Times, Pioneer, Indian Express, Asian Age, Tribune, Amar Ujala, Dainik Bhaskar, Rashtriya Sahara, Nai Dunia, G-files, Lex Witness, Legal Notes, The Correspondent, 4^th D etc.

Some important Professional Milestones –

• He presented RESEARCH PAPER before the Standing Committee of Parliament, consisting of more than 32 MPs, on proposed Criminal Laws Amendments.
• He had taken up the matter of the cancellation of District Gautam Budh Nagar (Noida) done by the Uttar Pradesh Government for Judicial Review and got the status of Gautam Budh Nagar restored as District through High Court & Supreme Court. The matter involved important constitutional issues.
• He had challenged the illegal computerized draw of lots conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Government in court and got the same cancelled and got a manual re-draw of lots conducted through High Court & Supreme Court. This matter also involved important constitutional issues.
• He represented three Bar Associations of Delhi namely, New Delhi Bar Association, Dwarka Court Bar Association and Rohini Court Bar Association in a Petition challenging the illegal Amendment to the Court Fee Act, by which the Court Fee was increased by the Delhi Government in 2012, to the extent of 4 to 10 times. The said amendment was quashed by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi on 9^th October, 2013. This matter also involved important constitutional issues.
• He represented Noida Entrepreneur Association against the ban imposed by the National Green Tribunal on the establishment of new industries in Noida for ensuring pollution free environment in Noida. We succeeded in getting the Ban lifted and getting directions for comprehensive & holistic development.
• Apart from above he has undertaken large number of cases, which have made headlines.

Has extensive exposure and have conducted wide variety of cases, including civil, criminal and constitutional, in the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi & various other High Courts, Tribunals and District Courts of the country and Arbitral Tribunals.

The primary focus of his firm is the commercial & economic laws. However, he has conducted a large number of cases of several descriptions including Writs, Special Leave Petitions, Suits, Complaints, Arbitration matters & trials of diverse nature.

Obtained Bachelor’s Degree from Hansraj College in 1981 and Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Campus Law Center, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi in 1984.

Began career in Delhi High Court the same year after being enrolled on the rolls of Bar Council of Delhi, vide Enrollment No. D/382/84.
